African Relish is a culinary venue in the Karoo town of Prince Albert

We are a foodie hub that offers cooking classes, an event venue and provide catering at your home or other venues. Using our own and local produce along with ingredients from the culinary garden in the olive grove, delicious recipes are taught, and delectable meals are prepared and shared.

Enjoy African Relish either as a stand-alone venue for weddings and other celebrations.  Create an extended family foodie getaway. We bake magnificent cakes to celebrate your special day and create flower arrangements for momentous occasions.

We have two cottages with various accommodation configurations in the quiet part of the town to complement your culinary experience.

Welcome Winter & Way forward Wed July 10, 2024

For those who have not met Michelle, she has been hosting our cooking classes together with Madri and Orscilla over the last year. With guest favourite chef Shane, she will now head up the cooking school. The team look forward to receiving you at African Relish. Classes run over a half day unless otherwise requested.
